    Need Help! !

So its been exactly one week since my bike was stolen and I'm itching to get back into riding.

I'm asking what its a good price for a 2007 SPECIALIZED Stumpjumper Comp Hardtail in Used condition but hardly ever used. I'm not too fond of the yellow neither. The bike is flawless and remains in storage. Its my buddies bike and he never uses it anymore so its been offered to me and he told me to come up with a price. I've included pictures and you can tell its been stored with all its dust. . .

Here is what the bike has. . .

Its completely stock when you would have purchased from the store.

    SRAM X-9
FOX 90mm Front Forks (I had 140mm Forks) So I don't know how happy i'd be with that.

    Additions are:

    1. Avid Juicy 7 Hydraulic disc brakes
    2. Thomson Seat Post and Bar Stem

I was really looking for a FSR again like my last bike but I figure while I save up money for one, I can use this in the meantime and sell later down the road.

That's a really nice spec with Fox, J7s, X9 & Thompson bits. Being an 07 should give some dealing leverage, but Id say anywhere from 400$ to 750$ is reasonable. I'd start bargaining low and see what he'll do. The msrp on the upgrades alone wouldve cost him around 500-600$. Of course I'm a tight wad.

I bought a stumpjumper ht about a month ago for $700. It has mechanical bb7 brakes and shimano deore components. It was stock except for pedals. Claimed to have not been ridden much. I thought it was a good deal.

Kenda Nevegals. Work great in New England. Lots of roots and short brutal climbs. Lost of guys in the area ride them.

If you are ever in the area, I know the trail builders in Viet Nam, the trail system in Milford Ma owned by mountain bikers. I used to ride with them all the time, until I moved to Ct.

Northstar is pretty nice! There's literally a ton of other stuff to ride there.

We hit Downieville on a motorcycle trip this summer. Man, what a really nice place--lots of peeps riding MTB. I'd like to go there and ride next summer.
