No results posted yet on the PPV numbers, probably won't know til tomm. I also agree that it is LAME as hell that they made the WEC PPV. This was one of the only reasons I liked the Versus network.

Aldo could have easily finished the fight in the 4th round but I understand where he is coming from. It's easy to watch a fight from outside the ropes/cage and think that someone is dominating and should be pressing more. However, at that level, even injured opponents are still dangerous. You can't throw your game plan out the window and risk losing just to make a fight exciting or because some restless fans are booing. If you want proof, watch some of Scott Smith's fights. He is more often than not getting beat by better opponents and then ends up capitalizing on a careless mistake and knocking people out. Happens all the time to great fighters who get sloppy when they smell blood.

Aldo dismissed former titleholder and promotional poster boy Urijah Faber in the WEC 48 “Aldo vs. Faber” headliner on Saturday at the Arco Arena in Sacramento, Calif., as he posted a unanimous decision victory in his first defense of the 145-pound crown. Scores were 49-45, 49-45 and 50-45.
