I dunno... hard to call a list of Wins/Losses arrogance. Just facts, really. Now there are some OTHER posts you might be able to call arrogant, of course.

True but ALL programs have down periods and to point out what I've already pointed out, that the last 10 years have been one of those periods, and that must mean that it's never going to improve is arrogant.

Texas has not always been doing as well as it is now...Texas has gone through down periods as well. And guess what...they improved. You can say the same for Alabama. It cracks me up when people from schools are doing well act like it's always been that way...like they've never been down.

Alabama has never had a down period. Ever.

(Except the entire period when I went to school there. Thanks, Dubose, Franchione, Price and Shula :anonymous: )

I must say, I am all about SEC football and most importantly, LSU. But I have a good friend from Iowa and we often pull for each other's teams (when not in direct competition.) I genuinely like the Hawkeyes and find myself watching yall quite often. Was very impressed last year.

Wish we had Stanzi down here in Baton Rouge, our QB problem is killing me! Maybe this will be the year Jefferson figures it out (or a freshman named Zach Lee from Texas uproots him from starting and leads us into greatness once again!) That's what I'm pulling for! :D 3/4 years with a great QB, gaining more experience each season. Have Shepard run some Wildcat and #16 dropping back into shotgun, then we'd have it going on. Mr pick six  (the other Lee, Jarrett) needs to camp out on the bench all season in my eyes.

I don't think Les is a bad coach. He makes some questionable decisions, but that is basically what won them the title a few years ago. LSU is a pretty good team minus the QB situation and I think Les can take em back to the top. Not this year, and maybe not next year. I think Bama is gonna dominate the SEC West for at least one more year. I think the East is gonna be wide open this year. I don't think UF will be the same team with Timmy Terrific gone, so I don't think they're gonna steam roll through the conference like they have the past couple years. I'm not lookin for my Dawgs to have a great season, especially if Green is ineligible. UT has the new coach, so I do'nt know what to expect from them. I think Vandy comes out on top of the East this year.

Sorry. I tried to keep a straight face. Honestly, I don't know who will come out of the East.

Les won with Sabans players. Look at his history. The only thing he did at okie state was beat oklahomo a couple of times. Its those questionable calls that will do him in. Remember the last second td against auburn? Well he dosent have the talent to pull those off any more. He is already being exposed. Blaming his players for his missed time out call is just a preview of what is to come.

I have zero respect for les wins. He is an asshole that got lucky landing the LSU job. Trust me by the end of this year the lsu fans will be calling for his head.

I absolutely agree with drifter. Les Miles only won the NC (with TWO losses) b/c he had talent Saban recruited. Since Saban's players started graduating, he's been going down hill, and he doesn't have the talent to cover for his dumb ass anymore. I predict he's out at the end of this year. It'll be clear that he's out when Saban returns to Baton Rouge and stomps that ass.

I don't think the East is as wide open as some... I think Florida comes out again, and meets the same fate as last year.

I agree here as well. I remember being surprised when he got the job in the first place, and he did win with Saban's talent. He has made some questionable calls, and some downright stupid calls. I know a lot of LSU fans (including a brother-in-law) and they have never been that fond of Miles.

Anyone hear his response to a reporter that asked about the oil spill and how it's affecting Louisiana? He talked for what seemed like a couple of minutes and when he was done I was like..."What the hell did he just say?"
