Wow that was impressive. How many of those players have been suspended for taking money? I know the fucker that intercepted the shovel pass was. And Ive heard talk about ingram.

But I guess in the long run it is comforting to know bama is keeping the tradition alive.

Nobody's been suspended for taking money. The interceptor did a STUPID thing and attended a party he shouldn't have. He's been suspended pending resolution. Ingram's party in DC was pre-approved by the NCAA. Both were after the NC, though, so don't get your hopes up that they'll be handing Texas an unearned title any time soon.

Im originally from Iowa so I would like to see the hawks do pretty well this year. Just beat Ohio State since Michigan cant seem to do it! Flew up last year to Kinnick to watch the Michigan vs Iowa game. Great fun, awesome tailgating and it was a night game. Damn, I forgot how cold it gets up there!

I do support the Dawgs...I just don't think theyve got the talent to do much this year, especially if Green can't play. And I"m actually about 2 1/2 hours from Athens, but try to get down there a couple times a year for games.

You know we will take down Ohio State this year. We took them into OT last year with a freshmen QB who had never played a snap in the NCAA, at the horseshoe. I would say as long as we stay healthy this year, we have a great shot at the Big 10, i mean 11, uh... 12 title.

    EDIT: The Big Tweleven.

i agree, at least you're not one of those unrealistic fans that say they're going to the national championship every year. maybe in a couple of years when they have more experience they will be a top 10 team again. and i just saw blue ridge and for some reason i had it on my mind that it was closer

No sir. I thought we had a shot when Knowshon and Stafford were there...but I don't see anything special in this year's team.

And Blue Ridge is right on the GA/TN border.

yeah, they had it going on there at the beginning of the season that year but they did what they always do: lose the games they should win easy (i.e. play vandy or tenn. close) and then win the ones they should lose. the dawgs never cease to let me down, but i still love 'em. you can't help but get pumped up about 'em when you're there with 92,000 other folks screaming their heads off for 'em! haha, and yeah, i know some people from blue ridge and just knew that it was NE georgia, not specifically that far up, lol.

I'm willing to give him another season before I start demanding he be replaced. He is a good coach, just can't quite find all the puzzle pieces all the time. He's got balls (NC season, 4th down calls vs Florida) the TD vs Auburn with time ticking away, hell that whole season was a heart attack waiting for a LSU fan. Gary Crowton is our biggest problem as far as coaching staff is concerned. Dude is an idiot. He should have been booted out after last year. Les has had his share of mistakes (Ole Miss time management- ugh!!), but the guy deserves at least one more season to prove he's worth having.

I'll be in attendance when Saban comes to town, and it won't be a happy reunion for he and his crimson tide. We've got too much to play for and we'll be in our house, count Bama out that day! I'm thinking a low scoring defensive battle, with special teams and turnovers swinging the game in LSU's favor.

I do se the East as pretty open. Well, for the big contenders at least. The world's biggest cocktail party should have some extra implications this year.

    Ok, I'll bite...

No pro athelete (an unproven one at that) is worth 50 mill guaranteed!

& I dont give 2 shits where he played his collegiate ball at either.

Hell Teebow got a modest $11 mill, yet 8 mill is guaranteed. WTF!

No wonder vets hold out for more $$

    /rant & jealousy.

What exactly will you have to play for after UNC beats you right out of the gate? I count at 3 losses on your schedule before we add #4. We needed OT to beat you in your house two years ago, but I bet we get it done in regulation this year. Les has proven that night games at LSU aren't what they once were.

    Special teams and turnovers, huh?

Last year our average punt return was 15.1 yards, to opponents' 9.2
. (We returned 39 punts for 587 yards to their 17 punts for 156 yards)
Last year we intercepted 24 passes, and threw 5 interceptions
Our lost fumbles were equal to those of our opponents

Most importantly... we averaged over 32 points per game last year. The losers: Under 12.
