Solar panels

ok i've been looking at some solar panel arrays just a general interest
about them, looking to offset electric bill. found general public array
owners selling electricity back to the utilities. researched local power utility
and they only buy 10 megawatts generated. Any TW users have systems as
investment or hobby???
