lowered taco djm 3/4. lots of ???

I have a 97 single cab with stock 14's i believe. I having such a hard time finding out simple things for these trucks on the forums or online unless its 4x4. lol I can find everything i want for a honda or for my other full size show trucks I have had. But Im trying to find out about rim sizes(17 or 18) that will fit this truck with the lowering kit i have or what other oem rims will fit like is300 wheel, is250/350, nissan 350 wheels etc... what issues I might run into with any of the rim options i have mentioned, should i remove all bump stops( rears are out now & lower fronts are removed, only upper fronts are in), is there anything i can do to smooth out the rear so its not so stiff( remove a leaf etc..), anything to smooth the front out aswell. not really bad but feels sloppy compared to my 5/7 dropped silverado. i know alot to ask but thank you.
