nothing yet. still trying to get my audio together (sold my Blazer), thinking about selling one of my bikes to get some rims. Not sure yet. All in all, I do think it is possible to do the spacer, and the camber won't be that brutal.

 

do you know the bolt size and what the original length???? there a hardware store by my house that sells grade 8 bolts that why

 

no sorry. I may have sometime after the holidays to do the drop but not really sure yet.

heres my redrilled upper arm mounts i also had to scalp the tops off the mounts to give my uppers room to travel ...its been like this for 5 years and 30k miles now the mounts are not bent or twisted so id say its plenty strong ....hope this helps

 

scalp the tops off the mounts to give my uppers room to travel??? are you talking about on the inside where the arms meet the corner of the frame???

 

he's talking about the pocket where the spring sits. since it comes up to an l at the top, the arm won't have much room to swing, ergo why he had to "scalp" it for clearance. I don't know why this was done by Toyota but on the 5 lug models, the uca's are on the sides of the frame, and with the 6 lug models, the uca's are on top of the frame.

yup, other wise not even the greese zerk would be able to move within the space that is left IF you were to raise the uca bolt holes up an 1" or so.

 

is that from center to center, from edge bolt to center,bolt edge to bolt edge???

be sure to only cut off the top of the uca bracket. the other guy is bagged, so he doesn't have to worry about his strut. your making room for the uca to travel when need be v. the other guys taco in which he has control over the over all travel of the uca/lca in a sense.
