you would think for the price they could add some nice powdercoat, or i would pay a little more even, but they have had the same janky ass powdercoat atleast since 2000. ( i lowered an s10 in 2000 and it had the same thing).

It's a three bolt top hat. Its not the same pattern as the 6lugs. What kind of struts are you trying to replace with?

Um, the coilovers are static drop and they are referred to as such rather than struts because of adjustability. You new to the car scene?

Calm down dill hole, go to my build thread I know plenty more then you. I'm trying to help, if you don't want it ignore it. Anything that moves up or down by switching components is non static ie bagged or juiced. Static means you can't easily change heights. The coilovers are for static drop, they are not pneumatic or hydraulic powered, closed circuit if you will. Just because you can adjust them does not make it non static. What you are trying to achieve is in the works with xii perf. You want an adjustable shock to fine tune your ride quality. That's what coilovers are. Emulsion shock with a shock body That supports adjustable height and is supported by an external spring.

No, goin to grab a new hood right now.

That's what the coilovers are :brick:. They are adjustable from 0-2 maybe 3" 0 being stock height, 2 being 2" of drop. You are way over thinking this

I see what your saying you want something like how Belltech makes for the NNBS chevys they make a 0-2" lowering strut which includes a adjust the perch however are you trying to achieve adjustable in height or ride quality. im just askign cuz you mentioned about the perch earlier and then you said you want somethign like the QA1 rear shocks where you can stiffen them or soften them
but im guessing you want to dial in your ride quality like the QA1 rear shock does without changing the coil?
if so that is what the coilover will allow by replacing the entire assembly coil and strut you can leave it at no drop height and dial it in
just tryna help out with what you by adjusting naw mean ride quality or height or neither
