I have a 2006 Tacoma long bed SR-5 and love the crap out of it, have owned several Tacomas and never did anything more than lub and oil

I have had a few things go bad on the 2006 and only to hear it would cost several hundres to correct .

one problem is the rear view mirror, during the day the mirror immediatly goes to dim, for night time , if I hit the auto buttom it goes correct for daytime driving .

Toyota says, $700.00 will correct the problem , BS, so I start each morning by pressing the auto button on the mirror.

Anyone else having this problem ? There is more for the next time .
