How will these rims work?

I went into discount tire yesterday and the rims I liked would not look right(says the salesman). I was looking at a 16x8 and he said they would stick out to wide??? So now Im looking at other options. What do you think about these? http://www.discounttire.com/dtcs/int...2442&rc=TXSINT

Not sure,I want the xrunner rims but cant find them. Its hard to find a rim with 30-40mm offset. I will most likely end up with a 16-18in rim with more of a street tire because the 5 luggers are setup for more of a car rim instead of a truck rim. I think the 5 lugs are a great truck, just the right size. I just want the right rim and right tire with the right stance,I want that real clean, sharp look. I plan on adding the bilstiens all around that go on the x-runner.

Id say run a 18 if you can I personally feel running 16 or 17 still shows alot of tire even if its a small stock height tire

18's on 245/45/18 or 255/45/18 would be prefect for a street look without being on rubber band tires

are you planning on lowering the truck?

No,other than the minimal(if any) drop I'll get with the bilstiens

with a 35mm bs, your rims will be about 0.5" within the wheel well. I have OEM Murano's on mine and they have a bs of 35mm.

You're looking at almost that for the Gassers.... save up a bit longer, or save on the spare and go with an 18" steelie.
