I have a 98 ext cab tacoma and its bagged in the rear. Before it was bagged it was monoleafed and dearched. Everytime i would go over a hump in the road it would make a grinding noise and now that it is bagged when i get to a certain ride height it makes the same noise. what would cause this?? thanks

Gonna throw out a guess and say your drive shaft is rubbing a crossmsmber or something when it's at just the right height. Can you feel it in the floor when it happens?

Well yeah and I have the crossmember notched. When I ride lower it goes away but when I get between full lift and minimum ride height it grinds.

I'm not sure what to think now! Steady bearing, u-joint, ...? E-brake cable? Evap tank hose?
Could you post some pics to give an idea of how it's set up?

BTW, I built a 03 S-10 on air with a kit from Master Image Customs. Had a KP Components 6 link in the rear

That's awesome. Well the crossmember holding the 4 link broke and pinion angle went down and pulled the yoke out of the trans but it slammed had bout an inch of clearance between the gas tank crossmember and where the driveshaft attaches to the rear end.
