street Taco exhaust...

    You would think they would think about all around performance. Without proper scavenging that top end aint worth a dime if you have no bottom end to get to it.

    Im hard pressed to see any gains over the stock tubular as I already have the open cat and 1GR muffler. Getting it as a precursor to when I can afford to go URD S/C....

    From what I've seen and read... I believe Toyota uses the same muffler as well as the same diameter exhaust pipe for both engines. The URD SC looks like a very well thought out design. :thumbsup:

    The piping diameter seems to be a tad bit larger then what I originally had. As for the URD kit come to find out it put 248whp down on 31/32" duratracs through the 5spd+tranfer on an extended cab. Should be able to do well above that without all that crap and the header.

    That might be a difference between the 2005 and 2012 models. Wow... the URD will make a genuine screamer out of your truck for sure. :)

    It looks cool and all but my concern would be some asshat rear ending you and shoving the exhaust hard enough to crack the head compounding the problem of just maybe needing another bumper and/or tailgate. I suppose that issue could happen with any vehicle with tailpipe out the back of it tho. Kudos on the originality............

    The exhaust will completely compress and or shear the bolts off the header before ever doing damage to the head. At least if he were hit hard enough that is the way I see the damage/failure happening.

    That's why no tailpipes are straight. They're designed to crumple. Mine is as crooked as a dog's hind leg. ;)

    When i saw the vid with the URD installed I thought the same even though he up the gear slightly and yes he is spinning some heavy ass mofo tires still seemed almost stock like but when he shifted to second seemed like it took forever to get up there mayn I'm real curious on how this would run on a truck with stock tires and header

    Exactly what my thought is but I think if anything ill grab the header first and finish my suspension work this djm notch Sucks pretty much 3/4" gap on passenger side and like 1.5" on the driver side dumb design and when I have time relocate UCA
    URD may come later in the year hopefully they make a stage 3 or somethin
