I would like to put 18's by 8.0, 8.5, 9.0 on my 2009 tacoma regular cab.

What do you guys recommend? I don't want to rub when I make a sharp U turn, and want to be flush with the wheel well. I don't want the tires sticking out... what tire size do you recommend and if you have a wheel/tire package for a great price, where can I get it? I would like to keep the smooth ride if at all possible...

Thanks for your help... if I should go smaller or bigger in size, let me know...

I will not lower the truck, just using stock suspension...

Up to 9.5 inch width should be find on stock suspension. Here are 22x9.5 akuza blades.

I think that as long as the tire does not exceed 30 inches in diameter you will be alright.

You should also go with an offset from 30mm to 40mm I think mine are 30mm offset and they sit flush with the fenders.

I am going to be running a set of X-Runner rims on my Reg Cab, they are 18X8.5 and don't rub at all. It all depends on the off set. The tire size on those is 255/45.

^18.5" width? damn those are hella fat lol nah nah

    offset is everything! lol

it all depends on how flush and how much rub your willing to take. you can trim the fender a bit.

my truck as been through inner fender surgery a couple of times already haha

I went to a custom rim site that lets you see what the rims they have in stock would look like on your ride, they said that the wheel well or what have you diameter is 22". Also, what sucks is that the stupid wheel well on the 2nd gens is VERY close to the tire, I don't get why they did that.

On my 18's (I have Murano OE's), the tire size is 235/60/18 or so, it gets VERY I mean VERY close to this odd hump by the door in the wheel well when at almost full turn radius. I have to snap a shot of it.
