yep theyre pretty flat. they dont look like theyre at a negative yet but its only a matter of time. youd be better off just replacin the whole leaf pack instead of just adding an AAL or having them rearched.

Hold your horses. It's not to the point you need to rush off and make any hasty decisions.

My 2009 tacoma with 2K miles didn't look any worst than those. Before you start throwing money at a possible solution... what's it your trying to accomplish?

Solutions depend on "your" desired outcome. If it rides good for you now then just leave it alone and quit worrying about the arch. If you want to off-road or tow, then there are solutions... but they'll cost you.

I doubt that those leaf packs will be riding good. I know for a fact that leafs looking like that give some mad axle wrap on 1st gens, which the OP has. If he carries anything heavy in the bed, the ride will probably be bad as well. Save the money and get some new packs or get them re-arched.

I just had my truck done. Toyota would not do the TSB because of the mileage they never said anything about it being an 06. They tested my leaf spring and told me they failed but would fix it for $1824.00 . I took it to a local shop and had it re arched and added a leaf. They gave me a year warranty for $ 487.00 . I could have ordered a new leafpack for $ 587.00 and got the same one year warranty. So just think about it. My truck is level and no lean even with a full tank of gas. It rides great.

I'm happy with mine. I'd get some prices and figure out who will give you the best deal with a warranty.
