Squeaky Leaf Springs - Stealership Fix

So I contacted the local dealership about my squeaky leaf springs. There is a TSB out there for it (# T-SB-0274-09), they basically put some discs between the leafs that is supposed to stop the noise.

I have the extended 100,000 mile warranty but of course this is not covered so I say what the heck, pay the $120 for the fix. It has been 2 days and they are still squeaking, what should I do....?

1.) Call em up, tell them I either want a refund or it needs to be fixed better
2.) Say screw it and move on with life
3.) Get a whole new leaf pack when I lift the truck in a few months

With sufficient thrust, pigs fly just fine.

I had the Harsh ride TSB and all my squeaks went away............plus my ride is 100,000,000 times better! Go back to the dealer. They told my plates in between then they told me there's some jelly/lube the also put in between......

I would go back and make them fix it. If they can't fix it, get your money back and use it towards the new leaf pack.

Tell them you want your money back. Fix it yourself by following the sticky or buy a leaf pack.

Why are so many people having issues with these leaf packs? I have had old Toyota's that have had 300,000+ miles on them with no issues.

That's about when mine started too, I'm at 55,000 miles now and it just keeps getting worse.

I have a 2011 that I bought last July. I just hit 36000 miles, and my leafs are squeaking like crazy. I drive almost all highway miles, I'm not out offroading and pulling a bunch of Lee Majors 'Fall Guy' stunts.
I'm pissed that Toyota has never fixed this problem. I understand if you're going mudding, and putting the suspension to work, but I don't do any of that shit. My truck sounds like a whorehouse bed in a western movie.

Go here and do this. My truck was the same. Squeaked on even the smallest of bumps, just getting in the truck, any kind of movement made is squeak... annoying and embarassing like crazy! I just followed this guys trick and it works like a charm. No more squeak at all.

Normally I would say to deal with it because its a truck and not a Cadillac...but you paid the dealer to fix it and they didn't. So go back and bitch at 'em!!
