Rocky Road: Eye to Pin adaptor for rear shock problems

Found this stumbling around looking for a jeep lift and thought this might be helpful to some people needing help with fitting the rear with shocks that they want, not just ones that fit..

Why? To increase clearance, articulation, ride quality, performance, looks... you name it! A key component in that formula once you get over a couple inches in lift is shocks.

Trouble is, the design Jeep chose for mounting shock severely limits our choices. By using the pin-adaptor, you can eliminate the need for the upper pin mount on the front shock and open up a whole new world of options on shock lengths and choices by being able to use double eye shocks (same setup as rear shocks).

These adaptors also increase the length of your shock by about 1.5". They are $36 bucks and I am not 100% sure they fit but someone can look into it! But it looks like its easy enough to make the Pin hole bigger to fit a bigger screw if need be!
