so i plan on lifting my truck eventually and have some questions. i have browsed the boards but there is so much info to sort through, i got lost so i figured i'd make my own thread

first 3in or 6in lift the truck is my daily driver.
how much of a hit will i take in fuel economy with a 3in and 6in. its a 4banger
once i choose the lift height other than rims and tires will i need any other parts?
whats a good tire and rim size for both a 3in and 6in lift
what company makes a good 3in and 6in lefts

thanks for bearing with me, this is my first truck and i want to do it right. made a bunch of mistakes when building my mustang all of which i have learned from but i'd rather do it once and do it right lol
    thanks
    -Eric

there's a lot of info for a reason..because all your questions have been asked and answered thousands of times.

3" or 6"? however high you want
fuel economy? it's not going to change much, you're not adding much weight
any other parts? no, just a full kit
    tire/rim size? 16 or 17in rims with 265 or 285 tires
companies? toytec, ome, bilstein, fabtech are the most popular so far
