i have been looking at the 6'' fabtech lift for my truck with the dirt logic shocks, i am looking at putting 35's on my truck when i get the lift. I have seen both 33's ad 35's on the lift and i think the 35's look better, look at some pics on the net or ask a 4 weel parts place if they have done the lift on any other trucks and see what they say....... but i would go 35's

How about a 34, lol. Goodyear Wrangler MTR. 305/70-17......specs per Goodyears site, 34.1" x 12.2"......I was running these on my Titan that I just got rid of. Approximately 27K miles and they are still looking good. Probably going to pick up a new set of wheels and use them on my Tacoma with Pro Comp stage 2.

But, I have heard that if you run 35's you will have to get new gears and everything will start falling apart faster than it usually would. Is this true?

For example: With 33/s or 35's - You're cruising down the highway at 65mph and you approach a hill. As you climb that hill, you quickly lose speed and momentum. You step on the gas to speed up and the truck just won't 'catch up' like it normally would. That's because of stock gears and larger tires. When you re-gear, you get that power back....(hard to explain). As for the *falling apart* bit....that would all depend on the kit you're buying, the installation of that kit, any other modifications you should have to make it a better driving/riding/functioning truck, the maintenance you give it, the driving you do, the terrain you take it on....and that's only off the top of my head.
