That I do. I'd prefer to get the auto, however. Not that I don't want to learn to drive a manual - I plan on having my dad teach me on his Taco, I'd just prefer to get the auto.

On a side note - I've heard that those who've lifted a 4-banger get reduced mileage totalling around what one would get if they had a V-6 Prerunner.

Can anyone verify this? If this is the case, I might just stick with the V-6.

alrigth man i have you covered i got the same exact truck but in white and it is an extra cab 5 lug..go to your local dealer for lifts and get hooked up with a 5 lug toyota tacoma ready lift leveling kit it raises the truck a good 2.25 inches to make it look like a pre-runner..my lift is on order and will be here at the end of july..or either you can go to readylift.com and order it directly from them

What does that do to your mileage? (I would also get the bigger wheels - equal in size to a Prerunner's.)

If it reduces your mileage - I would simply just get the Prerunner V-6. No sense in having the same mileage and a smaller engine.

This is the only (last) thing I need to figure out.
