I talked to downsouth motorsports and they said that these coilovers might be the standard travel ones and not the extended so there is a spacer in the sock body that limits the travel, and that the sound Im hearing might be that spacer being hit...:pout: Fuck lift, Run'um Stock, Run'um Hard

Optima Red Top 34R, OME 885 / N140S + 5100 rear, TSB leaf pack, Camburg Ball Joint UCA, Wheelers Diff drop, AEM Brute Force Intake with filter wrap, Summit Super Turbo muffler, Llumar 5% tint, Pioneer single din head unit, PIAA 510 Ion Crystal Fogs in stock location, Sonar LED tails. Sway Bar removal. Charcoal filter delete. Stant 11509 Locking Gas Cap.
I would suggest aftermarket UCA's as when you crank the Coilovers for more height it makes the stock UCA sit at a downward position which can cause a clunk when going over bumps. I had this happen to mine and now with Camburg UCAs its gone, I would also check Nitrogen and if the bottom bearings are in the correct position.

I hate to bump a 5 year old thread but I came in to confirm that I'm getting the same clunk with Fox coilovers (6 inch lift). Haven't quite figured it out yet, but it seems to be a common problem with these coilovers.

I have the same clunk with my fox as well. My friend looked at it and said it's the top of the spindle hitting the UCA when the coil over extends. I can actually see the top of the spindle where it's hitting because it's leaving an indentation

It's a shame Fox coilover remote reservoirs often come shipped with HALF the recommended nitrogen levels (as mine did), not to mention having out of date upper shock mounts that cause an irritating front suspension clunk due to excess play in the bushings.

Did I mention that, in these cases, the solution provided by Fox is to: "remove the coilovers, send them into us (pay shipping by the way), be without a vehicle for roughly 10 days, and wait for us to send them back". I don't know about you, but that doesn't sound like very good customer service.
