I just got a new brand new taco and I want to put a lift kit on it but i heard multiple stories about the warranty. Anyone know what kind of lift kit or all of them will void my warranty?

The rev tek 3" lift is approved byt toyota and installed by many dealerships. I had mine done at the dealer and it is fully warranted.

No lift will void your warranty.

No lift is "approved" by Toyota.

as far as lifts voiding warranties...the actual install of said lift doesnt automatically void it...if and when something breaks...if the dealer/toyota can prove that the aftermarket parts caused the damage then they wont honor the warranty

Well the service dept and parts dept told me it was approved by Toyota so unless you work for Toyota don't be so sure.

That's the best thing to do. The dealer may have ben feeding me a line of bull but anything they install should be warranted if is done else where you're on your own.
