For 35's you will need to go 4.88 otherwise 33's and 4.88 at 75 you will be pushing 3k easily, maybe a little more. Also depends on which 33's you go with. Most 285/75/16's are actually less than a 33" tire. A true 33" tire is 255/85/16 which is a tad over 33". With a true 33" you will be at 3k at 75 with 4.88. If I was you, I would go balls out like you a really wanting to. Go with the 4.88 and 35's. The only thing about doing that is you have to be SURE you are going to want to continue running large sized tires if you go 4.88 otherwise you are pissing your money away!

Assuming you mean adjusted to preload the spring and provide "lift" there are still sacrifices as mentioned earlier. May be minimal but sacrifices none the less.

why dont you run a 4 inch drop bracket and 2 inch coilovers? that will give you your 6 inch and high clearance.

i'm on 37s with a 2.7l and 4.3 gears(granted it's only temp), i still have a enough power. regearing to 4.88 you'll be fine. 4.88 with 35's are a perfect combo, no matter what engine you have.

3" for go 6" for show.

    3" pros:
    Lower CG
NOT cutting of your trucks crossmember
    Resale
If you decide running 35" tires isn't your thing you can go back down and your truck wont look stupid assuming if you went with a DB lift.
    Higher clearance at the crossmember
Can still run 35's with work

    3" cons:
Won't pull as many sluts at the mall
    Doesn't look as cool

    6" pros:

    Looks bad ass
Sorta capable if you go with 35's

    6" cons:

If you don't run 35's your truck looks funny
If you do run 35's your gonna want gears to get power back
If you want to run anything bigger than 35's prepare to break shit.
Most 6'' kits runs blocks in the rear

There are lots of options for both and 4'' kits are another option good luck with your endevors.

I can justify this by saying I'm extremely bored at work on my 11th hour of twelve. :anonymous:
