We're putting in my new dakar's. Where should the jack stands go, since putting them under the axles is no good, since we're pulling out the leaf springs?

    Thanks!

id say just in front of the front leaf spring mount. on the frame. block the front wheels aswell. you should be good.

Put them on the frame just infront of the front leaf spring hanger. About 3-5 inches IIRC. Right where that frame gets flat again.

Cool, thanks. We got the dakar's, minus the third leaf from the top, and the OME rear shocks on! Phew, wow. We also got one rear brake line swapped, but nearly stripped the nut on the fitting for the second one, so I'm going to get a shop to do it on Monday (we're gonna bleed the brakes and leave the stock second one on.

So rear is done for now. Tomorrow I'm gonna put on my coilovers and UCAs! :bananadance:
