popping noise

    when i back up n turn my wheels then put it back in drive n go to take off i hear a loud pop coming from the front...its just one pop not like pop pop pop...sounds like somethin loose but idk...any help would be greatly appreciated...could it be my steeering???

    I have the same problem on my 05..

    I think it's the brakes..or possibly the lca sliding back and forth..

    Let me know if you can diagnosis it..cus I dont know what the deal is..

    OEM roof rack, Shorty antenna (eBay), soft tonneau cover, K&N drop in air filter, bed mat, interior LED lights, 5100's, MT tires to come soon!!!
    I would check the U-joints and make sure they aren't worn out. My buddies 07 taco did that, it would pop and click when he backed up and come to find out he had a bad U-joint

    on the steering shaft? or the cv joints?

    something happened similar to me in another vehicle I had... it was the ball joint on one of the uca's.
