Anti-Seize on Ball joints - mistake?

Hi all. I'm pretty new to the forum but I have a question. While researching ball joint replacement for my 2001 Prerunner, I found this tutorial:

The author recommends using anti-sieze compound on the new ball joint. I did so in the area indicated in the picture below before pressing the new ball joint in. Was this a mistake or a wise move? I'm second-guessing this decision. Everything back together perfectly, but will the anti-sieze allow the the new ball joint to work itself out? I know the retaining clip will prevent this, but to what degree?

Thanks for taking a look!
