Is there anyone out there that has Billie 5125's installed in an otherwise stock rear end of a 1st gen PreRunner? I'm having issues with levelness left to right and want to determine if the shocks are to blame. Mine are:
Driver - 16" center of bolt to center of bolt
Passenger - 18" center of bolt to center of bolt

I know that the passenger is supposed to have 0.5" more travel but it seems like the difference that I'm measuring is too much.

    Thanks in advance.

the shocks should just be dampening. the actual height and load capabilities come from the leafs.

So the entire load is carried by the leaf springs and none by the shocks?

right. you can completely remove the rear shocks and the truck is still drivable. drives like shit, but still drivable.

The shocks dampen the rebound of the springs.

So the shock is measuring 2" longer on the passenger side but uninstalled it is 1" longer. The passenger side of the truck is 1 1/8" high on the right. Based on input above, it would be the springs that are the issue. These are brand new factory springs.

Is there any way to test the springs to see if this is the cause? I.E. I'm thinking remove them and put an equal load on the left springs and right springs and measure the compression distance?

These were replaced as part of a frame replacement that resulted in the truck having a significant droop on the left side. Dealership is being less than cooperative. I spent a couple hours with a tape measure and a flashlight last night. The best I can tell, the frame is straight and the body and bed are on the frame straight. That only leaves the suspension as a reason for the droop. Droop is much worse in rear than front but is still measureable in the front too.

Don't know. Factory parts installed by "the frame dude". Any way to tell left from right?

i'd get the part numbers off them and search to see if the FSM says they are LH/RH specific
