    Hi All,

My first post on TC but since I purchased my 2010 Tacoma DC Long bed 2 months ago I've been on this Forum constantly. So thank you for all the great info.

My issue: I found a Dealer to do the Rear leaf TSB and after I picked up my truck yesterday evening I took a look and the put a new 3 leaf pack to replace the stock 3 leaf pack??? I just called the dealer and sent pictures of other Tacomas with a 4 leaf pack TSB and they said the Spot and the TRD editions have different Leaf spring part numbers?

Am I crazy shouldn't my Sport edition still have a 4 leaf pack for the TSB?

Any help on this would be great!

I got mine done, a 2010 TRD Sport and 3 leafs were replaced with 4 leafs. Part numbers: 48210-04570 RR RH and 48220-04210 RR LH along with some new u-bolts and bump stops.

Thanks for the Part Numbers! I'm speaking with the Service manager this afternoon. Should be interesting to hear what he has to say.

Just got off the phone with the Service manager and he apologized saying they did replace the rear leafs with a new set but the new set was exactly the same as the original. They ordered the correct ones lets hope they don't screw that up.

I'm 90% sure they were trying to screw me on this.

Not a good first experience with my Toyota service department.

They did that to me as well...called Toyota directly and got it all straightened out!

I just had mine done, but my gut was telling me the whole time that my advisor didn't have a clue. Three calls later, I corrected their error, but then had to wait for the parts to come in.
