I have a 2001 tacoma. I want to get a 6 in lift on it. I am not a real machanic but i like to do as much as i can myself. Is there any real problems that you run into on a ifs truck. I hav worked on solid axle trucks and i am clueless on this one. Any tips.

Installing a 6" lift is pretty easy. Nothing to be worried about. Give your self a weekend to do it. :)

Also, you will need a Sawzall, and a welder. Im sure you have these as you are familliar with solid axels, but just had to make sure. :)
