hello everyone. i come from the world of import were slamming your car is the look, so i need help with what i want out of my truck. first off, the look i'm looking for i've heard called the trophy look, prerunner, cali lift and what is looks like the front sit slightly higher then the rear. how would i go about getting this look? would i just lift the front? lift the front and lower the back? also i don't know too many brands but i was thinking of just getting fox coilovers in the front and shock absorbs in the rear to match and upper and lower control arms. would i be good with just these or would i need anything else. also this is a DD so i don't want to me running into problems with anything so what would be the best set up? thank you guys for everything the truck is a double cab long bed 2x4.

k thanks. question why would i need to add a leaf in the rear? also as far as the uca what falls under maintenance, like making sure the bolts are torque down? and i wouldn't need lca?

i know this might sound dumb but i would like to find a happy medium for both off and on road. not going to do anything hardcore as far as offroad is but just messing around and going through trails. no like major jumping or anything. but i also don't want a stiffer then hell ride

I vote spindles in the front. That's 3.5-4" of lift. For the rear, 1.5" new leaf packs. Then just get bilstein 5100's front and rear. That will do just fine offroading. You can always upgrade to better shocks down the road if you want. That setup should make the front sit higher.

if i went spindles though would that be all i need for a no hassle setup? meaning i wouldn't have to look into extending anything or replacing a part for it to work right

Nope. You can run spindles on a completely stock setup. You just have to be 2wd.

It's actually not bad in maintenance. I've ha mine for a year and a half about and have never had to do anything. If mine ever starts to squeak I will just spray some lube on the uniball.

But if you really want new ucas an dont do a lot of offroading or anything hardcore I would just get the light racing ones.
