For those curious about the eibach coils paired with 5100s, I just had them installed and set the 5100s to .85 with the 1/4" drivers side spacer and got a full 3" of lift over stock. I am still running the stock size 265/70 tire for now. I think I now have enough lift for 285s. Anyone else get 3" out of this lift? I assume a 4x4 would get a little less...

1.5 AAL Non TSB springs. I'll look at it and it looks level, then look again and it seems slightly lower in the back, but its pretty close. I may go to a 2" AAL later.

Had a noise, but turned out to be a bad tire balance. Fixed. Does not wander. aligned good. It is stiffer than before when I just had the 5100s set at 1.75 but nothing major. All is good.

I guess it really does make a difference if you have a 2x4 as apposed to a 4x4. I have a d-cab short box 4x4 with the same set up, and got just over 2" out of it.

I will soon. I had some post lift problems with mine in the form of 3 out of 4 of my lower a-arm cam bolts being seized, so I couldn't get it aligned. Truck has been in the shop since Thursday getting fixed to the tune of $900. I should have it back soon, and will post picks for you.

I am planning on raising my 5100's to .85" to get a little more lift out of my Eibach/5100 setup. Is it really stiff? The ride with the Eibachs on 5100's set at zero is amazing!

The ride is much better than stock. As far as my lift, it started out as 3" but settled to a nice 2.5"ish. Eibachs, .85 billy w/ 1/4" plate on drivers and TSB. Took about a month or so to settle and that was 3 months ago.

    ^ This ^

you'll have less than 3" once everything has settled. you will still rub the cab mounts with 285's, unless you do a chop... but it sounds like a nice set up you have there

Nice setup - any issues with the driver side spacer fitting on the billy's shocks-did you need extended threads?
I have this set up waiting to be put on, myself.

What size tire do you think you'll ultimately run? I have 16"s TRD wheels..

Ahh so 285's have too much meat-
I wonder if having 16s vs 17s is a variable or if some Spidertrax would make a difference...?

When I first put mine on it was at 3", but within a day or two it settled to just over 2"...like around 2 1/4" or so. Ride seemed really nice compared to the soft stock set up even though my alignment was way off. I find the ride very similar to my Wife's RAV4 Limited. Firm, but in no way stiff or jarring.

    Fab,

Do you have the TSB and/or an AAL on your ride?? Personally, I don't like the bro look or too much rake. Still can't find a good picture of a truck with Eibach/5100 at .85 and TSB leaf pack w/ 1.5 AAL.

    Thanks man!!

op can you post up #s from the ground to the center of the wheel well? and i dont think that you will have to chop the body mounts. im running the procomp 3" lift with 285/70/17s no rubbing. only alignment issues. i have the eibachs and billys in the garage and want to put them on when i order the camburg ball joint uca's. just wanna make sure ill get enough height out of the billy eibach
