Tacoma 4" Lift Crawler Edition

I was looking around on ebay and came across this truck that was for sale by a dealership. They are claiming a 4" lift crawler edtion. Just curious if anyone knew what kind of suspension this is?

but it kinda looks like ome coils with 5100 in the front IMO

idk if that would come out to 4 inches though

there might not be 5100s at all...there is just no real angle to tell

and it doesnt have the stock shocks up front unless they are lying about it being a trd

 

$43 000 US , that's worse than here .

 

It may look neat, but the nerf bars and "pull bar" are not trail quality nor worthy of the title "Crawler Edition." Definitely overpriced for what the package entails.... $6k will get you Demello/CBI bumpers & sliders, better wheels/tires, a winch, and $3k worth of beer.

 

Yes there is. There is a clear shot with the wheel turned to the outside. The front and rear shocks are bright yellow....NOT 5100s.

OME would be my guess as well. Altho I'm not sure what the variations of OME shocks are...but mine had a black plastic boot in the rear-they were not completely yellow.

Tis all good- You still had the right idea..WAY over priced for a WAY under built product. Money spent in the aftermarket shops is far better value.

I have spoken to that dealership (they are local) It is a OME lift with 285s. It's not really 4" of suspension, maybe 4" with the larger tires. If you look at all of the pics, they list all of the parts on the truck. You could build your own for a lot less than that.

 

Money may be well spent else where but c'mon! That hand painted stripe totally makes it all worth it

 

didn't know this was a repost, but I have seen this truck advertised for awhile online.. 43k. is a lot of money and it looks possible like an OME lift.

Shoot for 12k for the lift, rims tires, etc. you can build a nice long travel kit and still have money in your pocket.

 

I have one up on John!!!! I've seen this one in person & sat in it in the showroom... Very cool looking but way overpriced & not the way most folks on TW would set up a taco.

if u think this is ridiculous, u should have seen the yota at wesley chapel toyota for 43k but was only a 2wd n no lift no sc nothin like that...i had enkei wt4 rims leather navi . dvd players in both headrests....crazy!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
