Question about Lifts

Okay, So I have a 07 dbl cab prerunner. Christmas is right around the corner and I want to raise the truck an inch or two. I don't want a Toytec 3". I would prefer a 1.5" AAL in the rear. But I am unsure about the front. I have read on TW that Spacers suck azz. Is that true? And what are my options on the front? I want to spend less than $500 with the lift installed, and alignment. TIA and ROLL TIDE!

Yes thats true. And just get 5100's for the front and the AAL for the rear. Roll Tide.

With Billies set at 2.5" and the AAL with alignment, keep me under the $500 range? Thanks

Should be.... Depends on if you put the shocks on yourself or how much someone would charge you to put them on. The shocks for the front are less than 200. 70-80 for the AAL if I recall. And you can get a lifetime alignments at Firestone for around 150.

I would definitely get someone to put both on. I know a local Alabama mechanic that charges very very little. He doesn't even like to charge my brother for a $30 oil change, but my brother is eventually able to give him the money haha.

You should be able to keep it under $500 with 5100's all around and a 1.5" AAL
