Looking for shops in North Carolina who do suspension work?

I am interested in gettin some bilstien 5100 shocks and an AAL but need to find a shop to install them before I order them. Anyone know of some good shops in NC that would install them for me. I'm near Greensboro specifically. Thanks

if you have some tools thats not really a hard project to tackle in a afternoon. think i did my front and rear lift in a couple of hours..

but- most tire stores will do it for you, find you a local retailer that has good rep and talk to them. may even find some new rubber while your there

 

Id love to install it myself, but I can't convince my dad to let me do it

thomas tire will do it for me? Any idea of a price estimate? And Ive heard of Galloways but I'm afraid they'd be expensive, but maybe not, idk.

 

TT did my coilovers. They are reasonable. Get phone quotes from both.

You and your dad should tackle the rear together. The rear is easy if you follow chris4x4's tutorials. The fronts are harder but you could take them off and take to any shop and have the new shocks mounted in the coil then reinstall yourself.

 

I really want to install it so i'll try and ask him again. It doesnt seem too bad so i'll try my best to talk him into it.

 

rear= piece of cake. the front is a pita if you dont have the right tools, but like stated you can pull it them off and take them down, have the shop swap em out with the new shocks then install em yourself. might save a few bucks

 

I encourage you to DIY also. But remember after you do the front, you'll need to have a shop do an alignment.

 

Yeah id love to save some money. I told him if he gets me the shocks and aal for xmas, ill pay for the install so im not trying to blow all my money
