So educate me on the way these bushings and washers go.

Have the 5100 c clamp set 1.75. Then goes the coil spring plate. Now with the pictures attached explain the rest. 1 small rubber bushing with 1 small silver washer. 1 big rubber bushing with 1 big silver washer. How do those go?

 

The 2 washers have grooves on one side. Is there a certain way the get placed on? Thanks for any help.

 

You put that one on first. Then the next one. After that you get the other and finally the one you havent used yet is last. Hope that helps.

 

Thanks for the quick response but that really does not help. The small bushing has 1 flat side, and the other side has a raised ring on it. So does the ring face up or down? Then the small washer looks like a tea cup saucer. Does it get tipped over or stay up like a saucer? Now the big bushing is flat on both sides. Now the other bigger silver washer is like a tea cup saucer as well. Does that get tipped over or stay upright. And actual picture would be great.

The spring seat on that shock is installed upside down. Make sure you flip that over. And the smaller bushing/washer should go under the top plate, and the large ones on top.

 

that is great except there are 2 rubber bushings that only shows one. do you need to use the black long plastic piece on the shock as well

 

I don't remember mine having two bushing pieces...maybe one of those is part of the black dust cover?! I have the dust cover on mine. The spring perch is def upside down. If you turn it around you'll notice a recess in it that slides over the c-clip. The part where the end of the spring sits is to face the rear of the truck FYI. Hope this helps...
