New Leaf Install Im Working On.........

    Color Match Grille, Bed mat, Kings with JBA UCA's, Dakars and 34" BFG KM3, Snugtop Canopy, and my "Marshall Fabrication" Rock Sliders.
    My buddy/neighbor has a 96 Tacoma with a 3" lift, and 2" body. He needs new leaf packs bad, and so he baught some ProComp Lift springs that give 3.5" lift.
    So Ive been helping him out, and let me tell you! Its the biggest bitch in the world! I had to cut 3 bolts off. and finally got the OEM leafs out. We got the Drivers side almost complete, and Tomarrow we need to get a new bolt, then finish the passenger side.

    I NEVER want to do this job ever again! :D

    Yeah, sometimes it can be a bitch getting those front ones out. I've seen where sometimes it takes a torch to burn the old rubber bushing out. :eek:

    wow! yeah thats the one bolt that gave the biggest headache. one side came out fine while the other took like an hour of cutting and hitting, then I finally just broke it.
    Gotta go find a replacement now...:(

    Being its a 96 its no surprise you had to cut some bolts. Changing leafs on something newer is still tough but not much of a PITA.

    Well today we finished it all up, and the Truck is sooper high in the rear now. We descided to put a few hundred pounds in the bed, its more like 300.....
    Try to get the springs to settle a bit. But how much should we expect them to settle? 1-2"s?

    Right now ide say the back is 2-3"s higher.
