    I want to get rid of it. it is hindering my DB mid travel goals. Can i just take it off? Its not supporting anything... oh and yes i am aware of my brake line.

    Cut it off! Then just re weld a plate higher to install an aftermarket bump

    Thats the thing tho! it just bolts on! i dont even need to cut anything. lol its just three bolts. im thinking i might want a new brake line before this weekend.

    no if you look at the bottom right of the pic you can see where it bolts to the db, and then there is one more bolt on top.

    If you don't have the bumpstop, you will over compress your suspension and probably destroy your shocks, etc.

    ya thats what im saying! for something that is supposed to add ride comfort while protecting suspension, it is just a big ass piece of solid metal with a plastic piece on it.

    Im still going to have a bump just an aftermarket one. And i am adding ext travel coils.

    Why is this a downfall of a DB lift, you have a bumpstop in the front too...
