Coil on 5100's identification help please.

Hey fellers. My pal picked up some 5100's for "05-10" at a swap meet and the guy didnt know what coils were on them. They were in eibach boxes but not sure if thats what they were. Anyway of telling if they are oem, ome, eibachs or otherwise?

 

OEM ones are black. Eibachs as Silver and have a taper to them so the top would be slightly skinnier than the bottom. OME are also black but much longer than OEMs. Hope that helps. If You have some pictures of them it would help a lot.

 

Thx. Was supposed to get pics last nite. He brought em over and the # on the shock itself turned up the info I needed for the tacoma years, we just couldn't figure out the springs. Their def not eibachs from your description. They are black like my OME's with a brown paint mark and a white paint mark.
I'll get some pics after bit I hope.
