I am new to the toyota forum scene. Had much luck on the LX forum scene good info there guessing same here! I have a 4x4 2011 tacoma and want to lift it 3 inches. Toy tec ultimate lift or Icon stage 3? Does the stage 3 offer diff drop? Is it necessary? Looking forward to tricking out my tacoma like I did my magnum! Hope to get some feed back! Bcanders

Are you planning on just lifting your truck or do some offroading?

The toytecs are fine to use for just a lift and offroading, If you plan on driving it hard offroading I would go with the Icons, because they are fully rebuildable just incase if you break something.

Nice Magnum by the way, Those look so clean lowered or slammed.

We have sand dunes where I live. I will go off road sometimes, however as far as quality and on road ride I was wondering what would be better. This is my daily driver. Thanks

I didn't like my toytecs so I upgrades to ICONs and I like them much more.

Icon Ext travel CO, Icon tubular uniball UCAs, Maxtrac Spindles, Icon RR rear w 2"aal.
Icon extended travel up front and the rear 2.0's with an aal is what im running out back. Dont need the Icon ucas, there are other options. Icons are too expensive for me. I went with camburg.

Edit: You do need new ucas with the extended travel ones. I just mean that there are other out there for better prices
