The amount of fabrication is mainly limited to the cutting of the crossmember. There are drop bracket lifts that provide 6" of lift easy. Look of Fabtech and Pro Comp for just a couple 6" solutions. I guess you could go 3" suspension lift coupled with 3" spacer lift... but I highly discourage it

I think he is talking about an "older" second gen...??? Well, that is how I answered the question anyway. Just for the record All White, the vehicle is the same from 2005-current. Minor, mainly cosmetic changes.

swap a solid axle in the front!!!! so a SPOA lift and blocks, it would require a bit of fab work, but i imagine that it cant be harder than doing a SFA SWAP on a s-10.

Wait, are you asking if you can swap a first Gen lift onto a second Gen? In that case, no you cannot. They are completely different trucks with different dimensions...

Thats what i thought but wasn't sure. And about that solid axle swap i was plannin on doin that but im a perfectionist and if i did it i would do it with coils instead of leaves spring and i dont have that kind of money, so im just gonna ride with independent till i get out of college
