6inch Pro Comp lift - Add (a-nother) leaf in back?

Hey guys,
had a question. I have a 6inch pro-comp lift - stage 1 with 35inch tires. I absolutely love the lift but it seems like it sits a little lower in the rear end. I don't know if i should shim the leaf springs. Add ANOTHER leaf or machine a bigger block for the back. I wouldn't mind adding another leaf it will help with load capacity in the bed.

What do you guys think? How much would these few options cost?

I would do away with the block all together and get a custom set of leaf packs.

 

this would be best if you can afford it ^^^


if not, a new block will be much easier than another leaf, because a 1.5 inch AAL will no longer yeild the claimed hieght increase, since your not adding it to a stock leaf pack. with some research and maybe a little trial and error, you could probably get it jsut where you want it with another AAL, but a block will be essy since you jsut ad the smae height to the new block that you want added to the overall reear height.

Chevy 2wd 63" rear springs (With NO BLOCKS)~ $20 from my U-wrench It.

and just right for a 6" lift + you can adjust to taste with shackles.

Ruff stuff or Poly Performance has a nice 63" chevy weld on instal kit for around $120.

They put the rear a hair higher than the front ( mine is Fabtech with Icons)


I am really happy with these, they are super flexy and dont ride all that harsh
