which coilover is passanger & driver

I just purchased a set of stock coilovers for my 06 prerunner with spacers already installed, my question is is there a difference betwen the drivers side and passenger side coilovers, and if so how can I tell the difference?

Well...the previous generation trucks were different. But I'm not sure about the new trucks.

The previous generation trucks - the drivers side coil had an additional winding.

Count the 'windings' on the coils and see if they're the same or not. If one is longer - and if I had to guess - it's probably the drivers side.

The Passenger side will have 2 paint marks of the same color on the coil, I think it is "green". The driver side will have 2 paint spots, but they will be "Green" and "Yellow".

you know...........i feel like an idiot now!!! when me and tigerfan took my coils out to replace the shocks(put in billy 5100's), we didnt even pay attention to which was which. i could have possibly put the wrong sides on................but the truck looks pretty level to me. is it gonna cause any harm if they are wrong??
