5100's at 1.75" and 2" aal level?

i have 5100's set at 1.75 in the front and stock in the back, its a little high in the front so i want it to be level without losing the height in the front. will a 2" aal level it or will that be too much? what do yall suggest to solve this problem?

 

1.5 aal might level it..but might have rake

 

What are the front/rear measurements from the ground through the hub to the wheel arch? I also think a 1.5" AAL would be better.

 

ehhhh im not 100% sure on the measurements, i thought 1.75" would level it but i mismeasured by like .5", is the toytec 1.5" aal a good product? ive been reading and it seems quite a few peope have it

 

i like my toytec 1.5 " aal. it does the job good..and does not make noise either

 

i also have this question, my rear springs squeak and sag and bottom out with 500 lbs just like the TSB says, it an 06 and i only have 29,000 miles on it. ive owned it for 2 years, does it qualify for the TSB? would the TSB level my truck? and i also just read a post that a guy has his 5100's set at 2.5" and the TSB brought it up to level so could i raise my shocks too?

 

yes i believe it might..i had the sama problem..i would bottom out with no load..now i never bottom out, even when towing 2 quads a dirtbike and a trailer plus camping gear

 

Talk to your dealer to see if they will do the TSB... if not, snag a 1.5" Toytec AAL. I have a 2" one and they are a good product for the $. My leafs used to squeak a bit, but when I put my AAL in I cleaned the stock ones up real good, and put some grease on the pads... no more squeak.

 

Billies at 1.75 with Toytec 1.5 aal w/ 5100's. This setup keeps the factory rake. It looks more raked in the first picture because it is parked on a hill. It hauls so much better now, hardly ever bottoms out any more unless I really load it down.

 

the tsb is basically a free aal so if you qualify and can get it than go for it. you might have an issue having already altered the suspension with the bilsteins (maybe not if you only did the fronts) depends on your dealer, but a copy of the actual document is somewhere on here if you search for it. I have had the tsb aal done and my bilsteins set at 1.75 in my access cab and its pretty much leveled out with just a hair of a rake once the leaf springs settled. i think though the double cabs come stock with a less rake than the access cabs (or so it appears maybe long vs. short bed) so it should level with your truck. you can always measure the rear height with a tape measure and jack it up 1.5 inch vs. 2 inch too to see what you like better. thats what i did with my bilsteins when deciding whether to go 1.75 vs 2.5 on my front bilsteins.

 

yeah thats what i did for the front, i have the long bed too and only the front 5100's so i hope i qualify for the TSB, you think with the 5100's at 1.75" in front and TSB itll be level?

 

I received my Toytec 1.5 inch AAL today to be installed with 5100s set at 1.75. I dont have the TSB AAL either, so Im counting on this setup to give me what I want

 

I have that exact set up (5100's @1.75 and a Toytec 1.5 AAL) with a 2005 DCLB. I wound up with 24 1/2" Rear and 22" Front measured from the center cap. Pretty close to factory rake. Just an FYI - don't use the shims like I did - you shouldn't need them.
