Front or rear replacement?

I hate the way my stock truck rides. I think it's too soft and not tight feeling. I've moved 3 times in the past 2yrs and don't like the way it sits or feels with a little load. The snugtop shell probalby doesn't help either.

Around 7 months ago, I replaced the rear shocks with Bilstein 5125's the 8 & 8 1/2 travel ones which helped a bit. I'm on a limited budget as I've been mostly out of work for a few years but have managed to save up a little money for the truck. I would like a little lift but nothing too extreme as I mostly drive on paved roads, dirt / washboard roads, hunting, and go exploring and hunting in the desert.

My current truck measurements with 255/70/16 tires from the ground to the bottom of the fenders are LF 34 1/32, RF 34 1/32, LR 34 1/2, RR 34 5/8 with the shell on.

I thinking I should just do the rear as the front would probably end up costing too much with an alignment. Not sure. What does everyone think?

If I do the rear leafs, I was thinking about getting the alcans but it doesn't look like theres an overload. I do have a shell and move around a bit and would like to get a small camper some day so do I even need an overload? I'm also confused on how much lift I should get. Don't know if 3" or whatever is too much or what even after settling. Also do I need different shocks, shackles, brake lines etc? So much to take into consideration.

 

get the wheelers replacement leafpack, it will make it ride more stiff.

 

then add some King shocks then you would be goood to go
