    1. Please stop yelling

    2. The diff drop is probably the cause of the vibes. Remove it and see if they go away.

Thanks will try that.:) also ordered a set of shims from toytec for the rear just to try that.Thats a cheap fix to try. Has anybody narrowed it down to specific model of truck. Because not all people are haveing the same problem. ???

i dont think it the bearing? why because it happen right after the lift.. i noticed it with in the first mile . took the diff drop out but still nosie maybe a little less but still there. i read in another thread someone said it the drive shaft angle. i'm kinda think that it is. does anyone know the angles or what the angle tolerance are. I hope this is it and the shims will fix it.

Check to see if the vib goes away if you switch to 4x4 while driving... it could be the bearing because after the lift there is more pressure against the bearing due to the new angle of the cv's

Its def. the bearing man! My Truck is at the dealer (has been for 2 weeks) right now getting fixed.
Im hoping it will be fixed and done Thursday. If not Im ganna demand a new front diff. there trying to just re-build it and its bull!
If it goes away in 4wd then its the Needle bearing.
Sorry, but alot of Tacomas have this issue.

Its more of a growning/growling noise and a grinding slight vibe in the floor board that most people feel.

The Lift doesnt cause the bearing to go bad, it just makes the bad bearing present. I drove it for maybe 30miles after the lift, then took it to the dealer. I have the ext. warrenty so there covering it. there just being stupid and trying to rebuild it, instead of just replacing it. My truck wouldve been done a week ago if they just gave me a new diff.
theyre ganna take my diff apart again to replace another part, bc the thing they replaced the first time didnt work.... Im just heated!! sorry for the rant!
its been about 2.5 weeks without my baby!

call me stupid but i can't get my head around this. so your saying eveyones bearing is bad then.????? because everyone who is hearing this growling means the bearing is bad or is the lift affect it some how. if you take the lift out you don't hear it growling. SORRY for the rant!! but this nosie is driving me crazy!! but i LOVE the look of the truck

Its all good, I was pissed when I heard it the first time also.
But no, it seems to be hit and miss. some people have it and some dont. When lifting, your cv axles put more load on the bearing there for you can hear and feel the bad bearing. but when your truck is stock and the cv's are in there neutral position you cant hear/feel it. hope that makes sence.
How most people find out if its the Diff bearing is by seeing if the noise goes away in 4wd. but if its still there then its most likely a wheel bearing or something else.
