Bilstien 5100's in coils

So this is what I have coming from Toytec. Eibachs, 1/4 inch spacer, rear 1.5 AAL, rear 5100's, carriage bearing drop kit, shims. My question is I already have the 5100's installed on the truck at 1.75. I want to be able to order another pair of front 5100's and take the spacer, and springs somewhere and have them compressed. But isn't there like a part on the truck i would need to be able to do this. Like the top plate or something? And my other question is. Is there anyone interested in my recently installed 5100's that are on the truck now with about 1,000 miles on them? The whole assembly.

 

You will have to have the top hat (top plate or whatever you want to call it) to go on the new 5100s you have coming. Why are you replacing a practically brand new set of 5100s?

 

Figured it would be cheaper to take it somewhere and have it compressed. It cost me 320.00 with alignment to have the fronts done around here. Figured it would be easier to have them set up, and then just exchange the new ones

 

If that's the route you want to take, you might be able to find a used set of top plates from someone on here that has converted to coilovers. You can do this yourself and save some major bucks.

 

Hwy don't you just take the 5100 and top plate off your truck? And then take that and install it with the toytec stuff, that's what I did

 

Not my cup of tea. Don't know how to be handy in that way.

 

Reading other posts. Am I going to have to get new UCA's for this lift? If so are Light racing ones okay? Or Allpro? Or Downsouth Motorsports has some now.

 

You'll only need uca's if you plan on going over 2.5" of lift.

 

Won't the eibachs give me 2.6? And stock wheels are still okay correct

 

0.85 + 1.6 = 2.45" without any spacers.

Stock wheels will be alright if you stick to 265's.

Oh, yeah.......it goes on top of the drvs side strut assembly between it and the frame. OEM studs are long enough for it. You can barely see it here under frame-silver part. Note the stud out the top of the strut nut....
