Lift suggestions/advice

I am looking to lift my truck 3''. It is a 2WD pre-runner DBL cab. I have been digging an digging through everything I can find using the search option. I am not looking to get blasted for asking all this when I can look it up. But I have not been able to find exactly what I am looking for. I have looked at getting a pro-comp 3'' lift because of the price, but after looking around on the sight I have found that they are not very well liked nor recommended. I want to do this RIGHT the FIRST time around. So I have read some more and have found two lifts, NO clue about them. Here they are. My goal is 3 inches on the lift overall.
1st OR

2nd I will be doing more driving on roads then off considering it is a 2WD truck but I do not want to sacrifice ride quality. So main question is which is best suited for me and what do I need to tell the people that are putting it in to set it to to get 3''. An what else I need, an any thing else that will help me with this. I am completely new at this so any advice or other suggestions will be greatly appreciated!

They are both good options and very popular on here. You're going to find some that like the OME better, and some that like the eibach setup better. They are pretty comparable.

 

Well i'm leaning towards the OME because of the option for medium coils. Thanks man! Just going to keep looking an researching before I decided.

 

So what did you decide on? I am also looking for a 3" lift for my 2011 trd sport prerunner. It's a 2wd and I just couldn't find anything really that addressed my set up.

 

In the first kit are the Eibach springs necessary? With a Pre-runner couldn't he just do the 5100s and the rear TSB and be done for about half that price? I to am curious because I have a Pre-Runner and that was the route I was going to go. Not sure if all that extra stuff is necessary on a 2WD.

 

I think I will go with OME kit because I can have the option to put 885 coils on. But what are the differences in the springs? Eibach and 5100? I thinking it might be a little much for a 2wd but the ride will be the same or better, instead of going with a cheaper lift and loosing ride quality.

 

I don't have the TSB done on my trucks rear spring, but the guy I talked to said that I can have the 2'' standard AAL an i will be fine. So that save's me from having to deal with the dealership. But has anyone had this? does it ride good with and with out loads, or do i need to get the TSB done then a AAL?

I didnt look into a spindal lift. I liked the option of changing my shocks an AAL
