    I'd put it on even if I didn't know exactly what it was for. It's there for a reason and you may void a warranty if it wasn't there when something went wrong. Plus, I wouldn't take any chances with brakes or suspension parts. I doubt you are the first person to do this though.

    I left out a washer when I did the OME lift on my Tacoma. It was a bummer to find it out but I would rather fix it right than to chance it out.
