2.5 inch lift with no upper control arms?

Hey I recently purchased a pair of Bilstein 5100s for the front and Im trying to decide whether to do a 1.75 inch lift or a 2.5 inch lift. I would prefer the 2.5 but I dont have enough money to buy some upper control arms. Is not having upper control arms with a 2.5 inch lift really a problem?

it should be around the point of still getting alignment in spec w/ 2.5"...better w/ 1.75 though

mines at 2.5" plus the driver side 1/2" spacer. so technically 3" driver side and 2.5" passenger side with no uca's. caster is off but i didnt notice any wandering. i say go for it.

It won't make it look weird. Measure your truck now. I'll bet it sits about 1/2 to 3/4 inches lower on the driver's side. A 1/4" spacer will even it back up.

As for UCAs. I'm at 2.5 with 5100s and my passenger side ran out of caster adjustment when I went to get it aligned. I may get some UCAs down the road but for now it drives fine to me.
