Ride comfort

I've never had a lifted truck, but Im about to do so with my 06 Taco. I need to replace the shocks in the back when I install the AAL. Can I get softer ride replacing my factory rear shocks with the Bilsteins? Thanks

Ride

Put em on a '06 Access Cab with no lift set at 1.75, and the ride was like a log wagon made out of wood. Will never buy another without TRD Off Road Pkg. they ride so much better than the plain janes.

Lifting the truck (in general) is going to make the ride stiffer.

You can always leave the stock shocks on the rear and see what it feels like and change them later. They're easy to change.

Most of your 'ride' comfort that you feel (so to speak) is going to come from the front struts. And that'll all depend on what you're using to lift the front.
