rear lift options with firestone airbags.

I have the rear spring tsb and firestone riderite airbags and I'm needing a 1.5" lift in the rear to match a 2.5" front lift. Is the 1.5" block lift my only option due to the airbags? Also, would my 265/70/17 tires look too small with a 2.5"lift?

 

Blocks will be fine. Tires should be ok also/

 

Will the Firestone ride rite airbags work with a set of all pro 3" lift leaf springs. I do no offroading, but haul heavy loads frequently and don't want to ruin/sag out the leaf springs.

I am also aware if I lift the rear tires to change a flat or whatever may be the case that this could rip the airbags. Will having the 3"lift be enough to rip the bags or can they stretch safelymoutmto accommodate the extra 3".

If anyone else out there is running a setup this way how is it working? Are there any other solutions to this issue I have?

I have 265/70/17's firestone bags an a add a leaf (rev tek) on a 08 Sport CC with 30000 miles an some tough trail rides, two flat tires an no issues with the bags or lift. Snowmobile so a lot of time on a logging road/ditch/stuck! Best thing was them bags! Les schwab put them on said be no issues........so far so good.

 

Doug diggler is your rev trek add a leaf equal to a 3" lift in rear?

 

I installed a Wheeler's 2 inch AAL which works with the airbags just fine, the AAL is the better option than blocks, it should settle a little which should put you right around where you want to be.

 

Well I already have the all pro 3" leaf pack. I couldn't find any info on how much stretch or articulation the Firestone airbags have? Before I spent 250 bucks to test it I was wondering if anyone had same setup to be sure it would work when the trucks unloaded. Does that make sense?
